Norma go on hiatus
Dear friends,
A short word on what I have been doing.
Since last Summer I’ve been writing songs and recording demos for Norma mostly on my own. This has been great fun. And a little frustrating too because I’ve been doing it, well, sort of barehanded and all by myself.
It was my intention to write a new record for the band but we kind of lost track of each other along the way. And I ended up with 20 songs I really wanted to cut.
Which I’m going to do, but not with Norma. Not for the time being though.
Norma will go on hiatus as of now and tomorrow I will start a new band to record and play the songs I have been working on.
This band will be called Furniture From The Fifties and will have nothing to do with furniture. Or the fifties.
It is a two man and one laptop band and we’re called @furnitureft50s on Twitter.
That’s all for now.
I will be posting regular updates on the music and the stuff we’re doing and I hope to welcome you all in 2012.
